Laurel Leicht is a journalist and copywriter who has contributed to Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Runner’s World, Women’s Health, O the Oprah Magazine, and brands including Gap, PepsiCo, and Loeffler Randall. She graduated from the College of William and Mary and has a master’s from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She’s taken classes at The Writers Circle in New Jersey, participated in Roxane Gay’s novel-writing bootcamp at Rutgers University, and taken part in writers retreats hosted by New York Times–bestselling author Christie Tate. A native Midwesterner and former New Yorker, Laurel now lives in New Jersey with her family.
